Composting

Introduction to Composting at UCSB and in Isla Vista

How We Compost:

First

  • save food scraps from your kitchen
  • avoid composting: meat, dairy products, oils

Then

  • save in the freezer in a paper bag or silicon container – keeps food from smelling funky
  • Scrap Happy Compost Bin

Finally

  • Drop it off at any of the compost sites around Isla Vista!
